Eucalyptus oil from flowers and fruit has a long history of use as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal The indigenous people in Australia have traditionally used Eucalyptus to speed up wound healing and stop all sorts of infection. Today, Eucalyptus is used to decongest sinuses and calm down skin infections. Here are ten amazing ways Eucalyptus oil may be helpful:

 Eucalyptus is great as a winter cold buster. Add 4 drops of Eucalyptus oil to a bowl of hot antibacterial benefits, add few rosemary sprigs to the water.

 Eucalyptus makes a great muscle rub. Combine 10 drops of Eucalyptus oil with 3 tablespoons sweet almond or olive oil and massage into the areas of tension. Apply as much pressure as you find comfortable.

Eucalyptus is perfect for a rewinding bath at the end of the day. Add 8-10 drops to the running water when making a bath. For better results, disperse Eucalyptus oil in a cup of milk, then add to the bath.

Eucalyptus makes a great foot bath to combat foot odors. Add to the foot bath to soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes.

Muscles rejuvenate better when you soak yourself after strenuous exercise in Epsom salts combined with Eucalyptus

Avoid hair loss with Eucalyptus hair pack: mix 10 drops of Eucalyptus with 2 tablespoons of base oil (sweet almond, grape seed, sunflower or olive), then massage into your scalp and leave for 1 hour, then rinse off with tepid water and a natural shampoo.

Room deodorizer: disperse 6-89 drops of Eucalyptus in a bowl of water and place near a warm radiator. You can also use Eucalyptus in your favorite vaporizer

When added to facial oil or a cream, Eucalyptus helps combat skin infections, boils, and irritation. 

Eucalyptus is a great insect repellant without any nasty side effects of DEET. Combine 10 drops of oil and 3 tablespoons water in a small spray bottle and shake well. Spray over exposed areas as required. Safe to use on fabrics, too

Eucalyptus makes a wonderful linen refresher. Just add 5-8 drops of Eucalyptus oil to the detergent drawer of your washing machine along with your regular detergent. You can also use it in your household cleaning products for added antibacterial boost.
