We are commited to creating the highest quality natural and organic skincare and beauty products. Our mission is to help you look and feel gorgeously healthy using natural and organics products.
Our products do not contain artifical preservatives including parabens, formaldehyde donors, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerine, or harsh essential oils.
We never add any colorants to our skincare.
We do not use sodium laureth sulfate (sulphate), ammonium laureth sulfate, or any phosphate-based cleansing agents or foam boosters in our cleansers. We only use castile soap (saponified olive oil), coconut soap or beetroot soap in our products.
We carefully select our ingredients to minimize the risk of contamination with genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Any of our rice-containing ingredients come from organic agriculture in Italy where use of GMOs is prohibited. We do not use soy or soy byproducts that may contain traces of GMOs.
We do not add chemical fragrances (often hidden as 'parfum' on ingredient listings). Our products have naturally occuring scents from the essential oils or botanicals in their formulations. Our products are free from phthalates and toluene (BHT).
Any petrochemicals including mineral oil, paraffin, PEGs, propylene glycol and similar plastic junk are never used in our products.
We use ingredients that have shown to cause little if any irritation even in large doses. Of course, everyone's skin is different and we cannot guarantee a complete compliance of our products with your own biochemistry. But we did our best to rule out most obnoxious botanical compounds from our formulations. Even if it's natural it doesn't mean it won't sting. But the stuff we use does the job without pain.
We do not carry products that have been tested on animals. We choose traditional ingredients that have never been tested on animals.
For ethical reasons, we do not use apiculture products including honey, pollen, and beeswax. We disagree with modern practices of beekeeping.
Our office operates in a carbon neutral building cooled and heated by tap water or hot springs and solar panels. And yes, we do turn off our monitors and computers in the evening.
In Switzerland, garbage is expensive. A small plastic garbage bag costs $2 and you can stuff as much junk as you can - do your math. So yes, we do recycle our paper, cardboard, shipping peanut, PET, and plastic packaging. Our PET and glass packaging is fully recyclable, too.
